ValetGo (the “Application”) is brought to you by GKE Services Pte Ltd (UEN No. 199500792Z, of 30 Pioneer Road #06-01 Singapore 628502 (“we”, “us” or “our”). We collect, use and/or disclose your data in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). We ask that you read this Policy carefully as it contains important information about how we will collect, use and/or disclose your personal data in accordance with the Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) (the “PDPA”). Throughout this Policy, the meaning of the term “personal data” is as defined in the PDPA.

We may change this Policy from time to time and you should check this Policy regularly to ensure you are aware of the most recent version that will apply when you use the Application.

1. Collection of Personal Data

1.1. We collect personal data about you (including but not limited to your name, address, contact number, payment details, vehicle details, and location details) when you voluntarily provide it to us during the normal operation of the Application. For example, you may provide your personal data to us when you complete a user profile or registration forms, interact with our social media pages, participate in promotions or discounts on the Application, fill up demographic information in surveys, or make a booking with us through the Application.

1.2. If you voluntarily provide us with your personal information, you will be consenting to our processing it for the purposes set out in Clause 2.

1.3. We may monitor your use of the Application through the use of cookies and other tracking devices, and may collect information about you including but not limited to how many times you open the Application, which pages you go to, traffic data, location data, and the originating domain name of your internet service. This information helps us to build a profile of our users. Some of this data will be aggregated or statistical, which means that we will not be able to identify you individually.

1.4. We may monitor and record communications with you (such as telephone conversations and email correspondence) for the purpose of quality assurance, training, fraud prevention and compliance.

2. Use of Personal Data

We may use, combine and process your data for the following purposes:

  • verifying your identity;
  • providing goods and services to you;
  • administrative purposes (e.g. processing your registration to the Application);
  • research, statistical analysis and behavioural analysis;
  • customer profiling and analysing your booking preferences;
  • marketing and advertising any goods and services to you by us or any of our related companies, agents, contractors and third party suppliers upon your consent (see Clause 3 below)
  • fraud prevention and detection
  • billing and order fulfilment;
  • customising the Application and its content to your particular preferences;

  • security vetting; and
  • improving our services.

3. Marketing and Opting Out

If you have granted us permission, we may use your personal data to market products, services, promotions, special offers, charitable causes or others by us or by any of our related companies, agents, contractors and third party suppliers that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive any direct marketing communications from us, you can opt out at any time by updating your preferences in the Application.

  • other companies within our group including subsidiaries, associated companies, jointly-controlled entities and affiliates;

5.1. We will take reasonable legal, organisational and technical measures to ensure that your personal data is protected, including:

  • controlling access to your account on the Application by a password and username that are unique to you;
  • storing your personal data on secure servers;
  • encrypting your payment details;
  • limiting our employees’ access to your personal data on a need-to-know basis; and
  • requiring those processing your personal data to do so in an authorised manner and to treat your information with confidentiality.

5.2. While we will make reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal data, you acknowledge that the use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that is transferred from you or to you via the internet.

6. Personal Data of Other Individuals

If you provide us with the personal data of other individuals, you represent and warrant that you have obtained their consent for their personal data to be collected, used and disclosed in the manner set out in this Policy.

7. Transfer of Data out of Singapore

Your personal data may be transferred from Singapore to another country if necessary. We will comply with our legal and regulatory obligations in relation to your personal data and ensure that the recipient outside of Singapore has appropriate safeguards in place to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data under applicable laws. Any transfer of data will be subject to a duly executed contract (between us and the recipient of your data) that will safeguard your privacy rights and give you remedies in the unlikely event of a security breach.
